Started in 2016, the Edgehill Story Project is a team of renters, homeowners and community supporters dedicated to preserving and celebrating Edgehill Neighborhood’s history, culture and working class community. We are fighting for a neighborhood that retains and expands quality, stable and affordable housing and business for our community.
Last year, with the support of community educator Amie Thurber and HFA, the Edgehill Story Project produced the Edgehill State of Emergency report and documentary film. The report and film bring to light the displacement crisis in the Edgehill community as well as possible solutions to pursue. The Edgehill Story Project continues to work on projects that lift up the history and culture of the neighborhood while pushing for community based solutions to displacement.
